First Sunday Food (House of Neighborly Service)

Hunger is not just in far-away places; it’s right here in Loveland, too!  First Christian has supported House of Neighborly Service (HNS) and their food program for decades.  In 2010, we began a new way to provide ongoing, monthly support. It’s called First Sunday Food!

It is very simple. Each month we focus on a much needed food item. You are always welcome to bring other items as well. See the below list for suggested items and bring your cans, bags, or boxes to worship on the first Sunday of the month.
The following day, all product collected get delivered to HNS’ food program for distribution to those in need. Join in this easy and effective way to fight hunger in your community!

January – Peanut butter and jelly
February – Soups – canned and dry
March – Mac and cheese, Ramen noodles
April – Canned fruit
May – Pasta and sauce
June – Cereal
July – Peanut butter and jelly
