Our Licensed Ministers

First Christian Church has a congregation of ministers.  But, some are called to either ordained or licensed ministry.  Our senior minister, Rebecca Heller, was ordained after having completed her Masters in Divinity.  The licensed ministers below all have or have had other careers.  They were called to the Lord’s service and prepared for it in alternative ways.  The Christian Church (DOC) provides for regional licensure of ministers to assist ordained clergy at the local churches.  Our licensed ministers completed two years of theological education, a mentorship program with an ordained minister, and sanctioning by the Committee on The Order of Ministry in the Central Rocky Mountain Region of the Christian Church.
