When you walk in the doors of First Christian on Sunday morning, you can expect to be greeted with a smile and a handshake. You will be handed a bulletin that will outline the morning worship service. It will also contain information about events in the church…that day and in the future. You will not be hounded or pursued; members and staff are available to answer your questions, help you find your way around our building, and make you feel at home…but never overwhelmed.
Before each service, we serve coffee and snacks in a bright and comfortable environment. You can meet folks there, or just enjoy the ambiance. Someone will always be happy to give you a tour of our facility if you wish. We don’t believe in pressuring you. We are a group of diverse believers at many different places along life’s faith path. Whether you are new to spiritual pursuits or a veteran, you will find our environment warm, welcoming, and unassuming.
Ours is one of the most beautiful worship centers (sanctuaries) in Loveland. There is not a bad seat in the house! You will enjoy a great message from our Interim Senior Pastor Rev. Michael Stein. Our Sunday Combined Service is at 9:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary and lasts approximately 75 minutes. Communion, or the Lord’s Supper, and intinction is served during the 9:00 a.m. service at First Christian Church. Our Sunday school hour (Explore and Grow Hour) is held every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. The Sunday Interactive service at 11:15 a.m. in Minnerly Hall starting sometime after Labor Day of 2013 will be shorter than the 9:00 a.m. service and communion, or the Lord’s Supper, will be by intinction only and the service will be conversational as opposed to being in the sermon style.
